Although you may have seen dolphins in captivity in a marine park or aquarium, it is much more fascinating to see these magnificent animals in their natural habitat. Even though wild dolphin behavior cannot be predicted, and sightings on all trips are not guaranteed, tour captains have a lot of experience on the waters of St. Andrew Bay almost every day. Our captains know where dolphins can be found, and they do everything possible to ensure guests have a good time. Dolphins can be seen on most tours jumping, playing, looking for food and communicating with each other.
A dolphin tour makes for a fantastic sightseeing experience. All tour boats leave Adventure at Sea in Lower Grand Lagoon. Then they cruise south across the pass between St. Andrew Bay & the Gulf of Mexico to reach Shell Island. Enjoy the views and look out for seabirds, sea turtles, and dolphins.
There are no Dolphin Tours available at the moment. They will be offered soon. The unique chance to observe wild bottlenose dolphins is guaranteed to make your Panama City Beach vacation unforgettable. For a memorable experience, we invite you to join one of our Panama City Beach Dolphin Tours.
St. Andrew Bay has one of the most significant resident populations of bottlenose Dolphins. These iconic gray dolphins are well-known to many people through television, movies and marine parks. Although wild dolphins are found in St. Andrew Bay, they are used and comfortable with humans. Boaters can often be seen among the feeding, playing, and swimming dolphins.
Six passengers are allowed on the Panama City Beach Dolphin Tours. This allows our guests to tour St. Andrew Bay in comfort and allow them to interact with the tour guide. Your captain will take all your questions and allow you to snap pictures and film video.
The number of passengers on our Panama City Beach Dolphin Tours is limited to six. Our guests can explore St. Andrew Bay comfortably, have a good conversation with their tour captain and see the dolphins up close. Your captain will bring the tour boat as close as possible to the dolphins, while being respectful and cautious to avoid causing them stress.
No trip to Panama City Beach is complete without a dolphin tour. While you might see dolphins at many of the various attractions and theme parks located throughout Florida, seeing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat is truly awe-inspiring.
Enjoy a wonderful dolphin encounter with our four different interactive swimming with dolphins programs, where you'll be able to play and swim with the cutest marine animal that ever existed. You only need to choose your favorite and have fun.
The best time to see and swim with dolphins is in the early part of the morning when they are feeding. You might also go out later in the day before the sun sets. You can spot dolphins at any time of day, really, but less traffic makes them easier to spot.
